Bath Street Hereford

Bath Street Hereford
The site of Herefordshire Council’s former Bath Street offices, prior to 2019  had been derelict for years. First built as Hereford Working Boys’ Home and Industrial School, and later used as a base for Herefordshire Council’s children’s services and registry offices, the red brick Victorian buildings were in need of renovation.
Connexus can boast the completion of their affordable housing development at Bath Street. Phase I included 27 high-quality apartments (including 15 for affordable rent). Phase 2 being 47 more affordable rented properties. 74 individual apartments in total.
McMillan & Holder were contracted by Harpers to advise on, repair and replace the perished stone architectural components. A 2 year project with a lot of interesting mineral repair work, a large embossed swag detail and countless window sections, corner quoins, plinth and jamb stones.
