Our Bespoke Fireplaces can be made in any stone type and to any design and they are all made by hand here at our Shropshire workshop.

Figurative Carving

A fireplace design is specific, not only in its architectural form, but in its capability for expression.

As they are so often situated at the heart of a home, they form the ideal vehicle to convey your own ideas.
The craftsmen at McMillan Masonry can free hand any design ideas onto paper and our stone masons can put chisel to stone to make a genuinely bespoke fireplace. We are also happy to offer ideas about classic and traditional designs from decorative carvings like the Tudor-rose, ball flowers, acanthus and floral embellishment, to the suitability of stone types for heraldic or figurative carvings.
